Recurring deliveries
1Rx quick reference — in charge of the client list and recurrences (often the pillpack person)
Your role in short
- Create the client list ONCE from the pharmacy's patient list, then one recurrence per client who gets regular deliveries (pillpacks).
- After that it runs itself: deliveries are generated automatically 30 days ahead and show up in Deliveries on their date.
Create the client list (photo or PDF)
- Print or photograph your patient lists — one document per sub-list (clients are grouped by document).
- Directory menu → AI Import → + New task → add the photos/PDFs → Create task.
- Extract: the app reads everything (names, addresses, phones).
- Review: fix as needed, uncheck rows to skip, then Create clients.
- Also possible: CSV import, or one client at a time in the Directory.
Create recurrences in bulk
- Calendar menu → AI Import ("Import clients + recurrences").
- One document = one start day. Set Start day (default) and Recurrence (days): 7, 14 or 28 to match the pillpack cycle.
- Extract → Review (adjust each document's start day) → Create clients + recurrences.
Adjust for one client
- Directory → open the client → Recurring tab: New recurrence to add, pencil to edit (frequency, amount, address), trash to delete.
- The Active / Inactive badge shows whether the recurrence generates deliveries.
Day to day
- Nothing to re-enter: recurring deliveries appear in Deliveries on their own and follow the normal flow (preparation, route).
- The Calendar shows the upcoming days — handy to double-check a whole sub-list.
If something goes wrong
| The import refuses or stalls | Daily cap reached or AI key missing: try again the next day, or use the in-app Help button. |
| Wrong cadence (14 / 28 days) | Open the client → Recurring and fix the recurrence frequency. |
| Delivery missing on its day | Check that the recurrence is Active and its start date has been reached. |
| Duplicates after an import | At the Review step, uncheck clients already in the Directory before creating. |
| Anything else | Help button in the app (videos, FAQ, support chat) or aide.1rx.ca/en/. |
